What is ContextCategory?
ContextCategory is a valuable product for advertisers that want to reach audiences while they are viewing a specific type of content. Through ContextCategory, network inventory can be segmented into deeper level categories. Instead of an advertiser buying on a top level category such as Health a ContextCategory buy allows advertisers to target sub-level categories such as Asthma or Diabetes. The ad is only shown against very highly targeted, deep level content. These are graphical units sold on a CPM basis. There is a one-month minimum buy for this product and inventory is sold on a first come, first serve basis.

What is ContextProfile?
ContextProfile takes the guesswork our of an advertiser's campaigns. With ContextProfile, advertisers know where their ads optimally perform, reducing waste and spillage. In addition, since our technology works in real-time, dynamic content pages are continually accessed providing the advertiser with a continuous stream of new customers.
How does ContextProfile work?
We allocate 20% of the budget to run across our 386+ categories for one week. This is important because it allows us to view which categories and pages an advertiser's products perform best against. After the campaign is run against the exchange during the first week, the system works on the fly to reallocate a targeted 60% of the campaign to the unique ContextProfile that has been created for the campaign. The remaining 20% of the impressions continue to serve run of exchange ads as the system attempts to test new publishers that are being added to our exchange and new dynamic content that changes daily.
Once I have a ContextProfile, why do I need to continue to run across the entire exchange?
Continuing to run across the exchange is important because it allows you to access new pages in our exchange, therefore, providing you access to new users.
How is the ContextProfile buy different from other exchange buys in the way it will optimize a campaign?
During a ContextProfile campaign the technology creates a unique profile of the best performing content at the page level. Most exchanges optimize at the category level, some at the site level but there is no other tool available that can optimize an ad campaign down to the page level. This provides the maximum opportunity to reach the largest pool of targeted users with a relevant advertisement. In addition to page level targeting, the technology also optimizes based on creative unit, click through and conversion.
